Since the start of Sunrise Farms in 2003, the Miller Family has intentionally contributed to the non-GMO movement within the farming community. We produce fresh non-GMO feed in our on-site mill for retail in our storefront, through dealers around Virginia, for regional feed delivery, and to be shipped in the contiguous United States. The poultry and livestock we raise at Sunrise Farms also benefits from the on-site mill and production of fresh non-GMO feed. We retail our all-natural meat, all-natural eggs, and wildflower local honey to the community as well.

You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production facility in accordance with HACCP and CFIA regulations. Tasks include operating high-pressure hoses, removing garbage, and handling raw meat products in a fast-paced environment.

Transport live chickens safely from local farms to the processing facility while maintaining accurate logs and documentation. Ensure compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety procedures during all operations.

The Hatchery Production Worker is responsible for the sanitation of hatchery equipment and facilities, as well as the handling and transfer of eggs and chicks. They also assist with building maintenance and ensure all safety guidelines are followed during daily operations.
