When the Tłı̨chǫ Government came into effect August 4, 2005, the Band Councils of Behchokö, Gamètì, Wekweetì and Whatì as well as the Treaty 11 Council business interests were brought together under the umbrella of Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC). The Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation & Group of Companies is owned by the Tłı̨chǫ Government for the Tłı̨chǫ people. The TIC has a number of businesses and several joint venture partnerships with other groups and companies. These endeavors include trucking, logistics, mining supply, civil & road construction, aviation, engineering Mission: TIC goals include enhancing the economic self reliance, prosperity, and certainty for Tłı̨chǫ citizens by creating sustainable economic development. In addition TIC supports Tłı̨chǫ traditional economy, youth involvement in businesses and professional development activities wherever possible.

The Environment Specialist conducts environmental sampling and monitoring programs, including wildlife, aquatic, and air quality assessments at the mine site. They also perform laboratory and office tasks such as data management, equipment maintenance, and compliance reporting.

The Senior Specialist manages technical environmental work, coordinates sampling and monitoring programs, and provides regulatory guidance to mining operations. They also supervise site-based personnel, oversee environmental equipment, and direct responses to wildlife activity.

The Operations Attendant manages daily retail store activities, including processing customer transactions and maintaining store cleanliness. They are also responsible for inventory rotation, stocking shelves, and transporting freight from the airport.
