SUMMARY: Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Guest Programming and coordinated by the Diving Safety Officer, the Presentation Diver will conduct seasonal dive presentations for Aquarium visitors as either a costume diver, interpreter or dive tender. Dive team roles will rotate between team members. Position duties include but are not limited to dive prep, set-up, break-down, reset, documentation and program presentation. Dive gear will be provided. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Current WorkSafeBC Occupational Diver's Certificate of Medical Fitness * CAUS Level 1 Scientific Diver or DCBC Occupational Scuba qualification preferred, but minimum Recreational Open Water Diver certification required * Drysuit certification or logged experience * Friendly, positive and team-oriented attitude Experience: * 25 logged cold water dives (must show proof of dives in diver’s logbook) * Interpretive experience in museum, zoo, aquarium or related facility preferred Schedule: * Contract duration: approximately September 21-December 24 * Up to 37.5 hours per week, weekend work is required Pay : $35 / Hour

Requirements
Candidates must hold a WorkSafeBC Occupational Diver's Certificate of Medical Fitness and at least a Recreational Open Water Diver certification. A minimum of 25 logged cold water dives and drysuit experience are required.
