BREAKFAST ATTEND Position: Breakfast Attendant Type: Part-Time (Weekend Availability Required) Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medicine Hat Schedule: Primarily weekend mornings starting 5:15am, with potential for additional shifts JOB SUMMARY The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and replenishing the daily breakfast bar. Through offering exceptional service, ensuring guests of the hotel are comfortable and satisfied with their experience. The breakfast attendant must maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for our guest. Major Duties and Responsibilities • Set up and maintain the breakfast area • Greet and assist guests • Replenish food and beverages • Baking of pastries, and croissants • Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines • Assist with clean-up and inventory as needed • Receiving deliveries and placing them in the proper storage • Ability to carry at least 50lbs • Potential catering attendant and banquet porter shifts Minimum Qualifications and Skills * High school graduate or equivalent experience. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and used by guests visiting the workplace. * Superior guest services skills. * Must possess Provincial serve safe certificate. * Candidates must have a valid food and safety certificate, and SMART Serve license. Physical Effort * Sets-up and cleans up Breakfast buffet on a daily basis. * Ability to carry at least 50Lbs Working Conditions * Infrequent handling of queries from guests, and property staff. * Maintain good personal appearance at all times; wear proper uniform and name tag as prescribed by hotel.

Requirements
