Course Description:

Ce cours examine la relation entre l’expérience psychédélique, la pratique contemplative et les processus de développement psychologique et spirituel. Ancré dans les études religieuses et les études contemplatives, il explore comment les états non ordinaires de conscience peuvent éclairer — et parfois obscurcir — le travail émotionnel, éthique et existentiel. Les étudiants y exploreront les interprétations contemplatives et religieuses des états modifiés, les dynamiques de l’évitement spirituel (spiritual bypassing), ainsi que des pratiques d’intégration telles que la pleine conscience, la conscience corporelle et l’enquête réflexive au sein de diverses traditions spirituelles et philosophiques.

Requirements:

Doctorat requis dans un domaine connexe. Expérience réussie dans l’enseignement de cours universitaires dans le domaine de la réduction des méfaits. La préférence sera accordée à une personne dont les intérêts de recherche s’inscrivent dans les domaines de la réduction des méfaits, des psychédéliques et de la santé publique, et qui possède des publications et une expérience de recherche pertinentes.
