Advance Manufacturing:

This course provides advanced topics on a variety of manufacturing processes, new materials, and modern methods and innovative technologies of production. Topics include advanced manufacturing processes, subtractive manufacturing, rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, composite and nanocomposite manufacturing, hybrid processes, laser assisted manufacturing, and micro and nano fabrication. Technical principles related to advanced manufacturing are presented.

Candidate Profile:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Must have a strong background and active research in the subject matter.
  • Must have a background in mechanical engineering.
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed from one of Canada’s engineering regulators

Teaching mode:

Courses will be in person.
