Course Description:

Ce cours est une exploration détaillée de l'image en mouvement dans un contexte artistique. Principalement axés sur la vidéo, les étudiants apprendront des techniques avancées de tournage, d'éclairage, d'enregistrement sonore, de montage, de colorisation, de mixage sonore et plus encore tout en développant des projets artistiques individuels, mais aussi en ancrant leur travail artistique dans le contexte plus large de l'art et de l'image en mouvement. /

This course is an in-depth exploration of the moving image in an art context. Primarily centred on video, students will learn advanced techniques in shooting, lighting, sound recording, editing, colourization, sound mixing and more while developing individual artistic projects, while also grounding their artistic work in the greater context of art and the moving image.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements:

Maîtrise en arts visuels ou l'équivalent. Pratique reconnue et dossier d'exposition en art interdisciplinaire et médiatique. Expérience en enseignement post-secondaire. Master of Fine Arts or equivalent. Established reputation and exhibition record in interdisciplinary and media art. Teaching experience at post-secondary level.
