Function SummaryReporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. He/she provides care which is safe, effective, resident-centered, ethical, and evidence-based to residents that are predictable, stable and have low levels of complexity. Within their scope of practice and in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and standards and with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) practice standards, the RPN supports residents and their families to receive care which promotes the resident's quality of life, optimal autonomy and maximize their self-care.Commits to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère.
