Night Security Guard - Schomberg

Securiguard services is looking to hire a part-time night guard at our commercial site in Schomberg. The candidate must be able to drive themselves to and from the site.

We are looking for someone who is:

• motivated to learn
• a self-starter
• has attention to detail
• strong customer services skills
• excellent verbal and written communication

Position Details:

• Saturdays: 2230-1030 Sundays: 2230-0630

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and administer access control to the building
• Sign in/out visitors and contractors
• Answering the phones and documenting information
• Data entry as needed
• Communicating important information to appropriate departments
• Conduct foot patrols regularly as indicated in post orders
• Any duties and responsibilities as set out by site SOPs

Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Previous security experience would be an asset
• Basic Computer Skills
• Must have your own transportation to and from work location
