The incumbent specializes in stimulating, coordinating, and delivering oral health promotion activities aimed at reducing disease and promoting oral health for people in the community. Incumbents must have an ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams. The incumbent will plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the delivery of an active preventive oral health education and promotion program within the oral health professional's scope of practice. This position provides supervision, program management, and direction to the Oral Health Program. The position is bound by the following legislation: Dental Disciplines Act Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association Bylaws and Regulations Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association Experience 2 years' experience as a Dental Therapist Other Information Field Hours Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
